ONE AND J. Gallery is pleased to present the first solo show in Korea of the artist Nikki S. Lee. Nikki S. Lee is one of the most well known and highly regarding artists working today with exhibition at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Photography(Chicago), the Kemper Museum, Yerba Buena Center of the Arts. Her film, a.k.a. nikki s. lee had its premier at the MOMA and has been screened at major institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts(Houston), Saint Louis Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art (Miami), The Philips Collection (Washington DC), the Guggenheim, and the Hammer Museum. Her works are in the permanent collections of numerous institutions including LACMA, the Hirshhorn Museum, the Kemper Museum,the Hammer Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim, the International Center of Photography (NY), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, MOCA (LA), the Bronx Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Photography (Chicago), the Museum of Fine Arts (Houston) the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Spencer Museum of Art, the Saint Louis Museum Art Museum.

For her first solo show in Korea, we will be holding a mini-retrospective, highlighting works from her “Projects, Parts, and Layers” series.
